Sony F3 Camera on The Aviator Travel Jib
Film director Martin Ureta needed a small, light, and easy to install jib to get some nice camera movements for a Nescafé promotional film. So he reached for his carbon fiber Aviator Travel Jib. But instead of using a DSLR Martin mounted the $16k+ Sony F3 digital movie camera on top of the Aviator.
Martin used the Sony 11-16mm wide angle lens without the matte Box. “The result is very good,” said Martin. “I definitely recommend using the F3 + Aviator for small places where you cannot get a bigger jib as well as for travels. The shots are incredibly smooth!”
Martin works at Switzerland based Swissmovie where they mainly do corporate and product promotional videos. He also runs the blog Cameraman.com.
